Every piece we build is made to order in Pennsylvania, to your measurements and your finishes. This policy explains how your $150 project deposit works, how to get it back if you change your mind, and what happens once your piece is in the workshop.
Your $150 project deposit
The project deposit is the only payment we take online. It holds your place in our production schedule and is credited in full toward your project.
It is fully refundable until production starts. Production starts when you approve your final design and we schedule your piece into the workshop. We always confirm that with you in writing before it happens, so you’ll never lose your deposit by surprise.
If we can’t take on your project for any reason, we refund your deposit in full.
How to request a refund
Email theworkshop@tackroomcabinetry.com or call (484) 258-1499 with your name and order number. No forms and no questions asked.
We refund to the card you paid with within 2 business days. Most banks show the refund within 5–10 business days after that. The original charge and the refund appear on your statement as TACK ROOM CABINETRY.
Once production starts
From that point your deposit is part of your project payment and is no longer refundable on its own. If you need a change after you’ve approved your design, contact us right away and we’ll tell you what’s still possible and whether it affects the price or the timeline.
Custom pieces
Because each piece is built to order for your barn, finished cabinetry and furniture can’t be returned or exchanged.
Damage and defects
Please inspect your piece when it arrives. If anything is damaged in delivery, let us know within 7 days with a few photos, and we’ll repair or replace it at no cost to you.
Defects in materials or workmanship are covered by the warranty shown for your piece. We’ll repair or replace anything that falls under it.
